Peace and Quiet

Jesus looked at them and said to them, “With men this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”

Matthew 19:26

Have you ever faced a situation that seemed impossible? I have. Many times. In fact, right at the moment, we’re facing a problem that seems impossible to resolve. But we’re clinging to One promise, One thought. 

With God, all things are possible.

We don’t know what the outcome of our situation is going to be - and to be honest, without God and the prayer of so many, I would probably be a total basketcase by this point. But I know that with God, all things are possible, and that He is still in control. I know that He has our future in His hands, and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.

Lord, we live in such uncertain times and many of us are facing circumstances that are out of our control. We ask that you move mightily among us, Lord, and resolve our situations as You see fit. Thank you for controlling our future, and for carrying us in the palm of your Hand. Fill our homes with Your peace, and give us the courage, the strength, the confidence that we need to get through each day. We love you, and we praise you. We thank you for Jesus, and the sacrifice He made for each one of us on the cross of Calvary. In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
